answer for #:
1. YES!!!, any form of water and electronics is a BAD idea, do not do it or you will burn or fry something and it will a lot more to fix it.
2. it all depends on what you want to know about 'turbos'. but in a nut shell there is 2 typs, internal and external. external comes as a somewhat extension off of the esc board where as the internal is a chip modification.
3. bah.... lights are pointless unless its mainly a display car.... they do not have a whole lot of drain and it not noticable, and if it is, its hardly noticable. your battery time will vary on how hard you drive your car. i suggest you get NiMH recharable batteries, they last a lot longer, and you wont burn up so much money in the long run.
4. Yes, mine easily goes ~30mph, some people boast of 40+ mph, just remember that youre only as fast as good as you can drive.
5. the difference in the chassis is that on the mr01 the batteries sit higher than the mr02. the batteries will be stacked as opposed to offset ontop of each other. the mr02 has a lower center of gravity.
