hi i want to put an alloy mototr mount in my mini but i really dont want to make any other mods right now. so i was wondering which metal motor mount will just take the place of the factory one with no other adjustments. thanks
I found no alloy motor mount that can works 100% likes the original one. If you want to use 3rd party motors, you have to do a lot of modification because the mount is a bit smaller for those bearing motor cans.
those motor mount caps do a good job as heat sink. But if you using super motor, use metal mount is better to deal with high temp.
I\'m now using the Top Cad metal mount where need to fit the motor with the motor mount cap.
Only 2g heavier then the original plastic.
And, file the inner part about 0.2mm bigger to fit those bearing motor case.
