I just ordered a new Kyosho Mini Z F-1 and I wanted to know if there was an easy way to break in the motor when it arrives? I have read something on letting the engine run without resistence for 5 minutes or even submerging it in water, what is the easiest way to break it in? I don\'t like the idea of putting an electronic in water. Thanks for any replies.
Either way should work fine, although I\'ve read that the water method works best. The voltage going through the motor is so nominal that you shouldn\'t have to worry about it, plus the water helps the brushes mold to the com better.
ok first things first I would have to say DONT PUT IT IN WATER it could screw up the connections, it can do alot of damage ALSO why do u have to break it in I mean come on ive had electric RC cars and truck they never ever said any thing about breaking it in. Ive only heard that in breaking in nitro engines. my best bet DONT SOAK IT IN WATER but if it screwes up tell us on here so hopfuly other people read this and it doesent happen to them also
