before i buy my monster i had a few questions. which hop ups should be bought first? i will primarily be using it in my house to beat around and climb and do some jumps. what do the foam inserts for the tires do and are they worth buying? also does anyone know of anywhere to buy one for less than 140? thanks a lot any other info would be great too thanks
First thing to buy would be a full set of bearings next a good set of Nm/hi batteries . As for the foam inserts dont waste your money on them if your only going to drive inside i personally dont use them even when i'm driving outside or inside or even for jumping. bearings.....you bet. I would add alloy knuckles as they are the first to go.
After time....pillow balls and front/rear alloy damper mounts.
AS far as under $140...hmmmm...although you should support the shop here...you could pick one up for under that at the popular auction site. I just bought my second one for $80 with shipping.
milroy, get bearings, and xspeed motor, and some good 800+ mah batteries and you'll have a blast. ru_crazy's right about the alloy front damper mount...so far that's the first thing i've broken. after you get used to the xspeed you might want to consider a fet upgrade, which really kicks the fun up a notch!
