The stock plastic wheel nuts are junk, they don\'t last long. No big deal though, the anodized ones are cheap, last forever since they\'re metal and look better. They are really just mini lock nuts that have a small piece of plastic in them that keeps them from rotating off. The hardest part is picking a color! I bought Kyosho brand but they are all OK. Just make sure you get a good wheel nut wrench to fit them. The kyosho nuts took a different size wrench than the topcad ones my brother bought.
if u take careful care of ur nuts, it won\'t strip. i\'ve been using my stock nuts since the beginning. although i have alum ones, i prefer the stock ones because they are lighter.
if they do end up stripping, u can add glue to it and it should give u a few more miles of life yet
