theres not that much of a difference besides price and that oil shocks are oiled up, theyre smoother. i think they were trying to get the effect of actual oil shocks w/ the whole resivior thing goin on, but that this scale its a lil tough... the issue is about money, i use kyoshos damper and shocks and i just added some graphite lube to it and it works like a charm...

IMO: kyosho roll shocks and rear dampers are the best and are definately worth the few extra $$$'s...
