My miniz was working darned fine yesterday: I try it today and the front wheels have gone awry...they go all the way to the right instead of the usual centre. I tried trimming the steering trim, but even at the most, it still leans aggressively to the right.
Opened up the servo case, the gears are intact.......damn.
I sure hope the potentiometer isn't out, as there'd be zero ways of repairing that :( (at least where I live)
The car can still run straight; just that I have to 'steer' to the left to counteract the change of direction, but still.....
Is this a soldering flaw? The antenna and servo wires look exactly as they were the first day I bought them.
Help please

I resoldered my servo wires, still no joy.
After I raced the thing yesterday, I only did cleaned the car, taking off the wheels and dusting the sand away.....surely, this couldn't have stuffed it up? I've been doing that for yonks. I usually steer the front wheels by hand, so i can clean off as much gunk from the kingpins, could this have damaged the servo's sense of direction?
Or is my transmitter stuffed up?
try adjusting the pot on the pcb. if it goes back off center after a while of driving. drip a drop of wax onto the pot so it's fixed and it wont move.
DO AT OWN RISK but i had the same problem and that's how i fixed it
ME NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE DUN BY U
Go to your local hobby shop and they will find the problem.
Dougboy, did as you said, though it took some time to locate the 'pot'. I thought you were saying 'potentiometer'.......LOL! Did a search, browsed thru pages of topics, and voila. I had to really open her up and fiddle with the guts.
It worked! I don't think anything really bad would happen, the pot can be gently turned with a small flathead screwdriver, providing you turn SLIGHTLY each time.....no half-revolutions, as I'm told, and ur fine. Phew.
Mini_z_racer, I wish my hobby store were like that....their customer service sucks monkey balls  and the mini-z is not all that popular here.
Thanks for the info.
glad i could help.
why would this happen in the first place?
