subsititute H-plate?

Touring car on the same track as my mini-z... I couldn\'t get it out fast enough. The other driver never stopped or made himself known...
What\'s a good temporary substitute for an H-plate when you can\'t get one locally? I\'m thinking of trying a few paperclips soldered together or something, but have my doubts it\'ll work.

You need something that will flex but not stay bent. Try an old credit card. Making the center wider or narrower will control how much flex and twist it has.

I AGREE WITH BBQ. CD\'S WOULD BE GOOD BECAUSE THEY ARE BENDY LIKE THE ORIGINAL H PLATE (BUT DON\'T WRECK THE HIP HOPS AND RAP ONES JUST THE COUNTRY CD\'S!!!) AND BY THE WAY BBQ COUNTRY MUSIC IS FOR OLDER EOPLE IN THEIR 40S TO 70S

not attempting to hijack the thread, but cripster, lay off the caps lock. lower case letters are much easier on the eyes.

I tried a couple of things and I found that a credit card worked the best, or atleast for me. But nothing is as good as the real thing.

CDs are actually not the greatest since they are very brittle. u need some material which is chewy enough

Carbon fire plates are fantastic, extremely strong. Plastic ones break easily, especially whn you are drifting and hit something side on with the rear wheels.

I have a friend who used a guitar chip with great results.

The cd sounds good and the credit card also sounds good but what about some fiderglass? it might be alittle expensivebut all u need is a small piece and u can always trim it down to the right size in the middle also u can spray paint it if u have a special color going for your car. I havet tryed it but I think t would work cause I have used fiberglass for other things

hope something works

i've had desperate nights out on the road and a H-plate will go on me, i find chopping up take away containers works the charm.. especially the thicker plastic ones.. and they are easy to find around the place
