I'm thinking of getting a Mini-Z. This would be my second affair with Mini-Zs. I had one before that was fairly tricked out with aluminum parts. I sold it and moved on to the Micro RS4. Same there. Custom chassis and lots of aluminum. Sold it all a couple of years ago, but now I'm interested again. My daughters and I have Xmods. They were a Christmas impulse buy. They're fun and the speed is fine for my girls aged 7 and 8. I suppose we really don't have reason to move to the Z, except that I'd like something more durable and with better range. We live in Haiti and anything we buy takes about four to six weeks to get here. So, if I decide to get back into the Z scene, what are the basic necessities for replacement parts. I don't want to build $300 aluminum cars. We don't race, just play. But I can't have parts wearing out or breaking regularly, so give me the short list.
