I just recently got a Mini-Z F1 Car!!! It runs great but it doesnt have any traction on the track that i purchased with the stock tires. (Track: www.lakeshorerc.com) I found a website that sells a variety of tires but i dont know the difference.
Types of Tires to Choose From:
1. Atomic 10 degree High Grip rear Tire
2. F1 High Grip Tires 10C
3. F1 High Grip Tires 20C
4. F1 High Grip Tires 30C
5. F1 High Grip Tires 40C
I obviously need something with high grip because my problem is traction.
But i dont understand what the degree is and What is the 10C, 20C...... etc
If anyone knows the difference or has expericene with any of this the information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The numbers represent the type of compound. 40C being the hardest with the least traction, and a 10C being the softest with the most traction. One thing you have to keep in mind though, the softer the compound, the less life you'll have, were as the 40C's will last a long time. You could probably get 2-5 races out of a set of 20C's. Hope this info puts you on the right track. (no punn intended  )
