Recieved my MT this mornin.

It's the best z yet imho, lot more robust and practical for the surfaces I run it on so I'm well chuffed with it.

1 thing I was wandering though is whats the best setup to perform wheelies?

Mine just don't do them atm, just don't seem to have the power to lift the front up.

I'm just about to try pinion gear 9T as it's the best one for acceleration (I think) and see how that goes.

Thumbs up to Kyosho for this wee beasty though. :)

Re lifting front wheels

Jabba you'll have to get yourself some decient batterys like around 800mah then you'll lift the front wheels like theres no tomorrow.

dirty diff

There is one thing i have found you do get alot of dust and dirt in the diff and gear box which makes it produce some strange noises. Is there a fix for this small problem.

Thx for the info guys.

I'll get some 800ni-mh and an x-speed. :)

Does it need any modding for the x-speed ie FET's etc? or will I be able to do a straight swap with the one in now.

Cheers

Re X speed

No does not need any mods for X speed motor just bolt it in and your away. Best option is to go for the 10 tooth pinion you'll get nice speed and run time :D

Re: Recieved my MT this mornin.

Well I got me 800- ni-mh's and charger yesterday mornin, thought i'd see how this goes b4 addin an x speed and well whoooosh for a start and it wheelies like a mofo :D, so not gonna bother with x speed as I don't need it, I even put 9T back on and it still wheelie'd, god only knows what theese 800's will do to my racer.

Aint had soo much fun for ages with any z.

Cheers guys. :)

Come on you know you want the xspeed motor in fact you need the xspeed motor for that stump pulling power , the uncontrolled roll overs when doing wheelies like a bad mofo , and when it makes that sickening noise when you run into things at full tilt . Don't worry cause the little truck will just keep coming back for more .

You can also do things that you would not dare do with a Mini-Z Racer. These Mini-Z Monsters are alot of fun. (Even having a head-on crash at full tilt wont hurt these monsters)

I just have some Sony NiMH's about 700 or 750 mAh. they last for a good time and there not that expensive. I think there called cyber shot cause you normally use them for cameras.
