My car doesent corner right

My car curves tighter to the right (the side where the engine has it\'s gear) than to the left.

If I start the car with full right position on the weels, the car spins around.

If I start the car with the weels all the way to the left, the car flies out in a big left curve.

I have calibrated it, so it runs straight as an arrow, if I dont steer.

The car is brand new, and there are no modifications made on it.

whats wrong? This is my first car.

possibily your h-plate is slightly off center.
it is the stock plastic one right? i had the same problem with one of my cars. it is usually a sign that something is not aligned properly.

another thing is that new cars need some time to break-in. a lot of parts don\'t want to move when they are new. so give it some time aswell.

I have the exact same problem on two mini-z\'s.

When it\'s going fast or the throttle is on hard, the car won\'t turn right very much.

I think it\'s summot to do with the stock rear diff. You can feel that there\'s more power being delivered to the right wheel.

How can I fix this? Is it worth getting a ball diff?

yeah i think it is the stock rear diff. if you hold the right rear wheel while pulling the trigger you can fell a difference from holding the left. i forget which but one spins and sounds a bit faster, resulting in a difference in power transfer and makes the car spin out one way. a ball diff should fix this, but i have found it takes a long time to break a new ball diff in.

A ball diff will greatly help the problem.

What you are getting is torque steer, because the wheels are a different distance away from the diff. The shorter side gets the power first which causes it to break traction, and viola, tight right turns.

A limited slip diff will stop it getting too out of shape, but only after its lock kicks in, so the right will still break traction first, but after it breaks traction the left kicks in and straightens it out.

A ball diff would be my first choice for an upgrade, every time.

My interceptor used to do this too,a ball diff GREATLY improved performance.I have the kyosho ball diff and lube it with graphite powder. My heavy body used to want to swap ends or spin out in sharp turns, once I got the ball diff tuned correctly it drove like it was on rails.
If your car is swerving THAT much, you might try a higher grip tire too.

Hello. New in here. Excuse my english, I'm from Sweden.

I have the same problem but my car seem's to lose the grip much easier when I turn left.

I notised that some of you knew that the right wheel has more power than the left. But shoulden't the car spin much easier to the left then? (my problem) Not to the right?

Thank you in advance. /mike

all in all solution=ball diff.

and an H or O-plate never hurts!

Re: My car doesent corner right

I have had this problem on every car I own--they turn on a dime one direction, but turning radius the other direction is huge. The solution for me has always been to adjust the tweak of the rear end. Even with new CF H plates my rear end wasn't exactly right and it caused one of the front wheels not to fully make contact with the road. It was easy to tell--sitting on a perfectly flat surface I could actually spin one of my front wheels--it wasn't even touching the road at all. Thin little washer between Hplate and motor mount on one side leveled everything out and now car turns great in either direction.

I agree with you and I have the same problem. I am waiting for my new H plate but when I get it I will try loosening the screw on the left side of the car on the H plate on the motor end. That way the rear suspension will soften up when making a left turn and it will grip more.
