I just got into Mini-z over x-mas, and I see there are occasional get togethers in the LA area--great. Are there any hobby stores around here that have tracks I can practice/race on? Heck, are there any hobby stores around here that sell parts for the thing?

I think you can get parts from Ultimate Hobbies in OC. There is also Pegasus hobbies in Montclair. Most ppl I know get parts online or from me. ;)
For racing, there is a track at High Desert Hobbies in Palmdale and a big one at NetZone in Rialto. I'm sure there are others out there too. I'm hoping to get one started in the San Fernando Valley area. I think there is also one that might start up in the San Gabriel Valley.
Thanks for the info. I'm in Camarillo now, so palmdale's the closest. I'll definately check them out.
I recently brought my z on a trip to vegas. very large group locally. Sure I was the slowest thing on the track, but hell, I'm new.
