Hey dudes!! I just bought my first MiniZ. It's a McLaren Mercedes.. the Mika Hakkinem one.
I'm soooo happy! Now it's time for the tuning to start!! :twisted:
Any suggestions?? I'm thinking about:
Changing the wheels (put alloy ones)
Changing the tires (put Slick tires)
Changing the motor (NML SuperSonic)
put a Turbo (wich one should i use with this motor??)
Changing the suspension
Ideas will be welcome! :wink:
well the first options I would concider is in order:
tires get groved ones they work best the lower the numer the softer I run 20 degree rear and 30 degree front
bearings
a ball diff
get xspeed first speed increase after you control
get a dampner there are a couple of types
get the alloy wheels as you will go thru the stock ones sooner or later
2x3 fet stack because there is not much room under the body unlkess you cut holes
optional stuff get alloy knuckles and steering plates and a real good bumper
also on mine i use heat shrink tubing on the front bumper wide enought to protect the front wheels
I have seen a small piece of foam used to protect the rear wing and tail from reart end collisions
another thing to make the diff better would be to get the titanium shaft
