Good way to lower your car!

If you have the room, you can take those little yellow things (were you put the bearings into, and you got to take out the stock things the mini z has them too) and put one under each front steering knucle and the other two ( if you have the roll shocks like me) inbetween the h bar and the bottom mount of the roll shocks. if you dont have the roll shocks then i geuss you would put them in between the screws and the h bar.

p.s. this can be a little tricky for the back half;)

p.s.s. has anyone ever converted xmod wheels to mini z wheels?

since i lowerd the chassis, were the h plat mounts i've put a metal skid plate made out of a floppy disk to preevent damage. lowering it makes it look better and improves handiling due to a lower center of gravity.

has anybody seen that car in the photo gallery with the lego shock on it? im thinking about doing that untill i get a reall shock but i wondering if it worked.

Re: Good way to lower your car!

well im cant remember what i mean but ill try to help.

if you are trying to lower it then im talking about the rear part of the h bar. the to screws go up through it and screw in to the (if it is stock: black motor mount, but if you have an upgraded one then it is still the same thing.) motor mount. so what you do is un connect the motor wires from the car un screw the motor mount from the h bar then keep the screws on (you might have to get longer screws depending on how big the spacer thing is.) anyways you keep the screws on and put the rings around the screws then screw the screws back to the motor mount and connect the motor wires back.

i hopped this helps but if not just tell me and ill try harder.

p.s. lowering the car a lot is not good for drifting because one of the main keys to drifting is body roll mainly in the back.
