Extreme Oversteer on Turning Left !

Greetings People .. i\'ve had my Mini-Z for a few weeks now, and i love it ! But ive noticed that there is a great difference in the handling of my car on left turns as opposed to right. Left hi speed turns oversteer and cause the car to do a 180. where as Right hi speed turns handle really well. ITs driving me nuts ! I have a wrx .. medium wheelbase, Ball diff and bearings.. Ive tried various tensions on my ball diff, rotated my tire positions and tried differnt steering knuckles with no joy :/

My steering trim has to be slightly tweaked to the right to keep the mini\'z tracking straight..

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated?

Check the H bar & the motor mount.
mostly is tweaked here.
And, any single damper? is it smooth? I exp that if the top damper isn\'t smooth, will coz problem like this.

Thankyou for your reply!

The motor mount and the H-plate look pretty aligned .. I do not have any rear dampers or rear suspension units.

I tried going back to the stock diff .. but that made it slightly worse if anything.

You probably still have a tweak. I have had this problem also
and so have many others. Place a small (very thin) washer under your H-bar between the chassis and and h-bar and
Put the chassis screw thru it. Try it on the oppisite side of the steering problem first. if this does\'nt work, try it on the other side. It worked for me.

yea so bud, open up your servo box. inside you have all the gears, and a bar that connects to your wheels. make sure that the bar and the gears are all alligned. this hppened to me, and i only realized it when i blew a servo. ;)

hello.
I thought since one side is a lot heavier than the other ( the motor is offcenter), so the car oversteers more on one side, but it's hair caught in the axle near the diff. clearing out the hair gets rid of my problem.

hmm... usually the problem lies within the ball differential.. next i would clean the potentiometer... umm.. sometimes it has to do w/ the servo gears and tie rod... get some graphite lub or somethin in the manner.... not the grease crap itll collect dust, but put some lub in there to smooth things out...

I had the very same problem it is just a matter of the differential, i had that problem with the stock one so i got kyoshos ball diff and just messed with it untill i got it right.

make shure you are letting of the gas a lil bit too
