What in the heck is wrong with the AWD axles?? My friend and I noticed a lag while taking off and we started taking the cars apart only to find that at least one axle on each of our cars was broken!! I don't mean snapped in half broken, but these axles seem to be molded with 2 separate pieces and the outer half of the axles spins on the inner half. It's hard to explain, but there is no power getting to the wheels mounted to these axles. Has anyone else seen this problem? I can't believe these axles are made this way!! I have attached a picture and I circled the section that is spinning.

it apears that one of the wheels locked up and snapped the shaft
they do make alloy ball cups the awds are not as durable as the other mini-zs so you will haveto take care to keep it clean and oiled there are twice as many moving parts in a awd
i was mistaken as to what you were looking at looks like you got some bum parts good news you can pick a set of 4 for like 7.00
maybe its not the axle
perhaps a differantional
or dogbone or batteries, motor
i have an awd too but that never happened to me
